Depot Manager
The Flora Depot Railroad and Local History Museum committee is seeking to engage a dedicated and mission-oriented Manager to lead our team.
The Manager will be responsible for:
• Overseeing month-to-month operations, coordinating with the committee, and ensuring the Depot meets its objectives.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with community members, donors, and other organizations.
• Planning and overseeing events, programs, and other initiatives to raise awareness, funds, and support for the Depot.
Qualifications
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management, and planning abilities.
• Comfortable with computer technology and implementation.
• Understanding of fundraising strategies, outreach, and donor relations.
Compensation
This is an independent contractor position with flexible hours. Compensation is $20 per hour. The Depot Manager should expect to spend approximately ten hours per month on basic depot duties. More hours will accrue depending on events, outside meetings, and other depot-related projects. A laptop, mobile phone, and reliable transportation are required.
